Dr. Beatrice Au was raised in Calgary and went to the University of Saskatchewan to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation in 2002, she moved back to Calgary and had been practicing dentistry full time. Dr. Au is known for her gentle chair-side manner and honesty with all her patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to delivering quality dentistry in a friendly and caring way. Away from the practice, you could find Dr. Au spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Stephen Lee, graduated in 1982 from the University of Alberta Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Since graduation, he had owned Sunridge Mall Dental Clinic in NE Calgary. Since 2002, he had sold his clinic and took on part-time positions in order to spend more time with his family. Having provided excellent dental care to his patients for over 27 years, he decided to take on a part time role here at our clinic

Andrea Stewart our front desk coordinator is the first smiling face that you will see when you come through the doors of our clinic. She works at keeping the office running smoothly and is always available to help with any concerns our patients may have. Andrea strives to make your experience here at West 17th ave dental care a pleasant one.

Pirkko Paulamaki is of Finnish heritage and has been a registered dental hygienist for 17 years. She provides clinical care for our perio, implant and general dental patients. Having previously worked in a periodontist office, she brings that additional specialty knowledge to our practice. Pirkko enjoys being a hygienist very much and is committed to help each client achieve the highest level of well-being that is personally appropriate for them in a genuine caring, compassionate and sensitive way.

Angela Oliverio our registered dental assistant, has been at the clinic since 2004. Her cheerful smile will make you feel at ease with your dental experience. She takes pleasure in ensuring that your experience will be comfortable and efficient while maintaining a high standard of care.

Patricia Johnston, our newest registered dental assistant, who is fluent in English and Spanish has been in the dental field for 5 years. One of her greatest attributes is her caring attitude and her genuine way of comforting our patients before, during and after treatment. . Giving patients healthy smiles provides Patricia with a great sense of professional fulfillment.
